Cy Salt is not a rub. Use it as you would salt: sprinkle, don't pour.

CY SAUCE 1: 1/2 cup mayo + 1/2 cup yogurt + 1 tsp Cy Salt.
CY SAUCE 2: 1/2 cup mayo + 1/2 cup yogurt + 1 tsp Cy Salt + 1 tsp curry powder + 1/2 tsp mustard.
CY SAUCE 3: 1/2 cup mayo + 1/2 cup yogurt + 1 tsp Cy Salt + 1 tbsp chopped pickles, capers or 1/2 can marinated artichoke hearts.
CY SLAW: Shoot some cabbage, collards, kale, kohlrabi, or broccoli (or mix 'em up) through the food processor's slice disc. Add now add something crunchy like sunflower seeds, peanuts or crushed ramen noodles. Add chopped red and yellow peppers and red onion. Grated carrots and celery work great, too. For the dressing, use any of the recipes for Cy Sauce above (we always use Cy Sauce 2 when we demo at Wheatsfield) or toss with lemon, vinegar (both the white and red work well) and Cy Salt to taste.
TRICE RICE TAILGATE SALAD: Blend 1 tbsp Cy Salt + 1/2 cup olive oil + 3 tbsp red wine vinegar. Toss with cooked brown rice or quinoa, carrots, red + yellow peppers, red onions, yellow cherry tomatoes, dry roasted peanuts and grilled sausage, chicken or tofu.
THE HOIBERGER: Mix 1 tbsp Cy Salt with 2 lbs ground beef, pork, turkey, or chicken. Shape into spheres. Smush, but not too much. Grill. Top with Cy Sauce, pickles, tomatoes and lettuce.
FRED BREAD: Slice a baguette the long way. Brush both sides of the inside with olive oil. Sprinkle liberally with Cy Salt. Add fresh herbs if you like. Dill's a great choice. Or cheese. We recommend parm. Wrap in two layers of foil. Throw that silver son-of-a-gun on the grill for 20 minutes, turning once.
RHODES ROLLERS: Mix 1 tbsp Cy Salt with 8 oz cream cheese or marscapone. Add fresh herbs if you like. Stack 5 slices of your favorite cold cuts on top of each other, like a meat blanket, about 1/4" high. Spread the top slice with the cheese/Cy Salt mix. Roll the meat blanket up into a meat cheese tube. Cut the tube into 1/2" slices.
PIZZA: Cy Salt is the perfect finishing touch to any pizza—even frozen ones. Sprinkle it alone, or mixed with parm cheese and red pepper.
CARDINAL RED SAUCE: Saute 1 onion and two cloves of garlic. Add 1 24 oz can crushed tomatoes + 1 tbsp Cy Salt + a splash of red wine. Simmer 30 minutes.
MARKET BOOTH OYSTER CRACKERS For the oyster crackers we have at our market booth! Into a quart Ziplock baggie or quart Tupperware container, mix 1/4 cup of oil and 1 tbsp any Saltlicker flavor. Try and get the salt to dissolve into the oil. That's why we prefer using a baggie: you can mush the salt and oil together with your fingers through the bag. Dump in one 9 oz bag of oyster crackers. Toss around, getting the salt even on the crackers, bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
